About Us

Anga Simbari is a small Australian family business offering hand made products for a homestead lifestyle. All our products are hand made – with love – from the highest quality materials and designed to compliment a lifestyle like ours – one that supports self sufficiency, environment and independence outside of mainstream consumer culture, but still stylish, aesthetic and imaginative. Thank you for visiting our website, and for your support.

But you knew that already…

We live in a rural part of south east Queensland in Australia. We are both busy with full time work in health care, but would looooooooove to be able to make a living out of making things, teaching how to make things and be more self sufficient. There is a bunch of kids of varying ages in the family from 8 months to 19 years.

We manufacture “crafty” things. Usable, practical and pretty things that are self-made, recycled or upcycled from previously used materials. We are a genuine family and not a faceless organisation claiming to be one.

Our goal is to sell our crafts on the website. Currently (early 2020) we only have earrings for sale, but soon we will be adding stationery, and as soon as we can, wooden toys and items as well. All we do is done in-house. Beth is the brain and hands of the crafty side of things. Markus has a background in graphic design, web design and such and also does woodworking…. when this darn website is complete…

Don’t be a stranger. We always welcome emails and questions. We would love to hear from you…
